Job Description
Browns the Diamond Store is embarking on an ISO project plan and as such has created an opportunity for a process driven and solutionsorientated individual.
Overseeing and assessing existing processes and workflows. Constantly measuring and interpreting data.
Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot manufacturing or business issues and create process documentation.
Optimising productivity by designing implementing and testing new procedures.
Identifying bottlenecks and managing them effectively.
Continuously improving productivity by eliminating lost time and using resources efficiently.
Change management and continuous improvement capabilities.
Assembling of reports to document process status and changes.
Communicating findings and proposals to upper management.
Constantly investigating processes to find the most efficient production strategies.
Providing thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes.
Conducting risk assessments.
Contributing to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Requirements
Skills:
Excellent analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to persuade others to change existing practices
Strong business acumen
High attention to detail
Proven ability to identify assess and solve problems
Proficient with computer and information technology. Sound knowledge of MS Office Excel
Report and proposal writing
Design and writing of Technical specifications
Business process design
Project management
Education Experience and Licensing Requirements:
Minimum Bachelors degree in Industrial engineering or mechanical engineering
Exposure ISO methods
Maximum 3 years experience
ISO certification is an advantage
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Previous experience in process management and process implementation
