What Youll Do

Reservoir Optimization & Performance

• Collaborate with geo scientists to develop innovative recovery strategies and generate accurate production forecasts
  
• Coordinate comprehensive data acquisition programs and integrate complex subsurface data for production optimization
  
• Build sophisticated reservoir models using PVT analysis to evaluate dynamic reservoir properties and mitigate subsurface risks
  
• Conduct technical evaluations of prospects and discoveries focusing on volumetric analysis and recoverable resources estimates
  

Cross-Functional Technical Leadership

• Partner with production engineers to analyze data and generate critical lift curves for informed well design decisions
  
• Provide technical expertise to multidisciplinary teams for planning and executing new work-over wells
  
• Support drilling operations with real-time analysis and decision-making capabilities
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including geo-science planning drilling and economics professionals
  

Strategic Field Development

• Estimate reserves and assess economic viability of field development projects in collaboration with economists
  
• Provide reservoir engineering input for well completion design and facility development plans
  
• Conduct appraisal planning efforts to optimize data gathering scope and timing during exploration activities
  
• Generate production forecasts that drive strategic field development planning and investment decisions
  

Regulatory Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure full compliance with government regulations across asset development and reservoir management lifecycle
  
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders
  
• Coordinate post-drill resource and reserves bookings with regulatory requirements
  
• Support technology development initiatives through advanced reservoir engineering practices

Requirements

Who You Are

• 7-10 years of proven reservoir engineering experience in oil & gas operations
  
• Strong track record in reservoir modeling production optimization and field development
  
• Collaborative professional with excellent cross-functional team leadership capabilities
  
• Detail-oriented engineer with passion for technical excellence and innovation
  

What You Bring

• Bachelors degree in Petroleum Chemical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline from reputable institution
  
• Minimum Second-Class Upper degree (Second Class Lower considered with advanced MSc/MBA qualifications)
  
• Deep understanding of subsurface engineering principles and reservoir management
  
• Proven ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary technical teams

• Advanced Software Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Eclipse and Petrel RE applications with black-oil and EOS modeling
  
• Specialized Analysis: Strong capabilities in PVT SCAL reserves estimation and production forecasting
  
• Technical Modeling: Proficient in Pressure Transient Analysis using Saphir and integrated reservoir modeling
  
• Data Analysis: Experienced in Decline Curve Analysis (DCA) using OFM and Material Balance Analysis (MBA) using MBAL
  
• Log Interpretation: Intermediate skills in well log analysis and formation evaluation
