Job Description

WILL Immploy a project of WILL Employment Solutions connects employers with immigrant job seekers willing to work in Southwestern Ontario Canada. We are currently seeking interested candidates to present to a regional employer for this advertised position.

To be considered for this opportunity you must be legally eligible to work in Canada residing in Canada and not currently employed in your trained/educated field. We are growing and we have a need to add to our team. We are looking for a fun openminded creative individual to join our team and help us continue to make a difference for people supported and the community. We are hiring for Direct Support Worker.

We support both youth and adults who have an intellectual disability. While our focus is on teaching life skills and independence we also support people with complex special needs. Our support can include individualized goal planning personal care behavioural support supported independent living and any other support needed by families and individuals. We are an organization that works closely with families to allow for flexibility in the support and to make sure we are providing the best quality of support. We offer support both in our location as well as in the community. Use of a personal vehicle may be required.

We operate 7 days per week and offer overnight respite as well. This means that having availability to work different days including evenings weekends and overnight shifts will be a priority. The successful candidate will also be working with adults and youth which means each day may look different. This is an opportunity to work with people with very different support needs which creates an environment that doesnt get boring and allows us to continually learn each day.

Requirements

G license and reliable transportation is required.
Candidates need to be willing to travel to different locations.
