The Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD as within all of Caterpillar our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream from procurement to design and manufacturing to distribution. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts DistributionofCat Parts Integrated Logistics segment Procurementand thedesign andmanufactureof Wear Components (Undercarriage and GET) and Maintenance Components (Seals Tubes & Hardware Hose & Couplings Fluids and Filters).
The Manager Supply Chain Planning will be responsible for managing the development implementation and operation of a supply stream for the Wear Components Manufacturing group.

What You Will Do:
- Developing implementing and managing complex supply chain streams with global reach.
- Managing relationships and processes with suppliers to ensure adequate product supply to meet inventory strategies. Providing support for new supplier selection.
- Establishing effective linkages partnerships and best practices with clients business partners and internal functions.
- Performing analysis of supply chain trends sales forecast ontime delivery and inventory strategies and recommending improvements to the supply chain performance.
- Analyzing and solving business problems with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forwardlooking opportunities.
- Leading forecasting using trend analysis and statistical modeling to drive decisionmaking.
- Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from timetotime.
What You Have (Basic Qualifications):
- Business Markets: Knowledge of existing and planned markets and marketrelated initiatives from the perspectives of the competition the suppliers the customer base and the regulatory environment; ability to apply market knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- Effectiveness Measurement: Knowledge of effective measurement techniques and ability to measure the quality and quantity of work effort for the purpose of improvement.
- Global Perspective: Knowledge of issues opportunities and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations.
- Planning: Tactical & Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term) tactical 12 years) and strategic 35 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
What Will Set You Apart (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or related field.
- Knowledge of supply chain planning processes (i.e. Inventory Management and leadtime strategy and analytical tools PowerBI and SAS).
- Knowledge of common supply chain systems (i.e. SAP or AS400.
- Knowledge of 6 Sigma Project Management principles.
- APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification.
- Knowledge and understanding of lean concepts and tools.
- Knowledge of data analytics applications (i.e. PowerBI SQL Developer PC SAS Excel PowerQuery).

Summary Pay Range:
$144960.00 $217320.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjobrelated knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
