About The Role & Team
At Amplitude were looking for an Art Director to drive the of our visual brand. We need a smart talented and experienced Art Director thats excited to roll up their sleeves and take the success of our brand to the next level.

As an Art Director you will:
- Art direct and manage creative vendors: Build out a roster and maintain relationships with design agencies and contractors. Know how to get stuff done on budget and on time.
- Work crossfunctionally:partner with many stakeholders across the organization (product marketing people and places product design and more) to problem solve and create good work.
- Implement Amplitudes brand: design assets such as: content ebooks web product video (design assets) social subbrands presentations events and environmental design.
- Uplevel and maintain our brand: Use your creative knowhow to evolve the Amplitude brand. Bring the brand to life through design and visual storytelling. Build and expand on current guidelines.
Youll be a great addition to the team if you have:
- 712 years experience in a design role.
- Design portfolio with great work that showcases a modern design aesthetic and great taste experience with integrated multitouchpoint campaigns and brand awareness work.
- Excellent understanding of formal design elements typography composition color etc.
- You know how to evolve and maintain a brand and have a proven track record.
- You are a person who loves to design and will roll up your sleeves but is also excellent at giving creative feedback.
- You have a great eye and a high bar for excellence
- You have technical savviness youve mastered Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience
Youll be an amazing addition (with these preferred qualifications) to the team if you:
- Experience in web development and ability to provide feedback to developers
- Animation experience
- Solid knowledge of photography and video production
