Visa is recruiting a Directorlevel strategy professional for the Visa NA Strategy team. This role is for someone who loves both the left and the right brain sides of the strategy domain. In this role you will help Visa NAs senior business teams get creative with new ideas and shift direction when the market situation calls for it. You will apply financial and business analysis to out unworkable ideas and make the best ones even better. And even more importantly you are somebody who can help us turn our best ideas into reality. The role requires experience with strategy development and management in a large company environment and at the same time the passion for nimble and fastpaced that smaller growthstage companies demonstrate so well. This role will require you to work effectively with senior executives as well as peers across the organization with a diverse range of styles. The role reports to our VP of Strategy for Visa NA.
The Strategy function at Visa has proven to be an effective talent incubator for highpotential early to midcareer professionals with dozens of strategy team members at both junior and senior levels moving on to highimpact and highvisibility leadership roles across the firm. With strong performance the successful candidate for this role can expect in due time opportunities for both internal promotion on the strategy team as well as leadership opportunities in the business.

Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 810 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 6 years of work experience with a PhD
The successful job candidate must have demonstrated mastery of the strategy and strategic planning skillsets at the midcareer level (e.g. equivalent to engagement manager skillset and experience at a Big3 strategy consulting firm). The ideal candidate will have the following competencies and experience:
10 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD (preferred: 12 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 810 years of experience with an Advanced Degree or 6 years of work experience with a PhD)
A minimum of two years experience in strategy development and strategic planning at a toptier global or boutiquelevel strategy consulting firm at the Engagement Manager level. The work experience should include a mix of strategy development and strategy work.
Or alternatively comparable clientside experience equipping the candidate with a similar skills toolbox
Proficiency and fluency with the strategy consulting toolbox and skill sets at the engagement manager level: business analytics problem solving and case cracking executive communications project team leadership
Relevant experience in industry sectors relevant to Visa (payments; consumer banking; B2B software and technology; ecommerce; retail)
Strong stakeholder relationship and management skills and comfortable working across the organization structure as well as with external business partners
Track record of successful experience and career progression in client engagement case team and/or high visibility project leadership roles
Commitment to continuous training and improvement of employees throughout the corporate strategy function
Selfstarter team oriented collaborative diplomatic and flexible with excellent presentation skills including strong oral and writing capabilities

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510 of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 178400.00 to 258750.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.
