Job Description
RPO Recruitments client in KwaZuluNatal is currently looking for an Accountant. Their responsibility is to maintain oversight of intercompany accounts and effectively oversee nongaming revenue and food and beverage cost management in accordance with necessary standards and in full adherence to relevant legal and accounting regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safeguard and manage company funds and assets while overseeing accounting systems
- Analyze operational outcomes and propose costcutting and profitenhancing strategies for Executive Management review
- Ensure accurate accounting classification for all expenses both operating and capital
- Prepare internal and external financial statements
- Enforce internal accounting and administrative controls to ensure accurate transaction handling
- Develop longterm plans and budget requirements to achieve departmental and corporate objectives
- Stay updated on industry trends and share relevant information with employees
- Manage statutory tax calculations and administration
- Implement techniques to enhance productivity effectiveness and cost savings
- 12 years management experience preferably in the Gaming or Hospitality industry
- Selfmotivated with excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Preference will be given to PDI candidates
- Relevant Degree in Finance or equivalent
- Salary: R420K/yr R456K/yr negotiable
