Job Description

Procure to Pay Analyst (Financial Services)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support and enhance Source-to-Pay (S2P) operations in the insurance industry. This hybrid 6-month contract role based in Toronto (3 days on-site: Tuesday Thursday) focuses on procurement operations and vendor catalog management within eProcurement platforms.

Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day operational support across the S2P lifecycle and resolve issues efficiently.
Collaborate with Procurement Finance Treasury IT and business stakeholders to ensure seamless procurement execution.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and internal controls.
Respond to supplier and stakeholder inquiries in partnership with platform support teams.
Manage the full vendor catalog lifecycle creation updates and decommissioning.
Configure catalogs in line with sourcing strategies and business needs.
Troubleshoot catalog-related issues with suppliers and internal users.
Maintain catalog accuracy conduct audits and ensure data complies with procurement policies and contracts.
Communicate with vendors for routine updates and data collection.
Serve as liaison between sourcing leads business units and end-users.
Provide end-user training and proactive support on catalog usage.
Monitor contract expirations and coordinate updates with sourcing leads.
Drive process improvement initiatives and contribute to system enhancement rollouts.

What you will need to succeed:

Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Information Systems or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2 years of experience in procurement supply chain or catalog management (or equivalent experience).
Strong Excel skills and data management capabilities.
Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of eProcurement platforms (e.g. Ivalua SAP Ariba Coupa etc.) is preferred.
Knowledge of catalog enablement standards (e.g. Hosted PunchOut).
Experience working in a large matrixed organization.
Understanding of sourcing and procurement processes.
Knowledge of eProcurement systems and processes.
