Job Description
This dynamic position combines medical administration patient coordination and financial management responsibilities in a modern healthcare setting. You ll utilize advanced healthcare technology platforms while providing essential support to mental health professionals and their patients. The role offers an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in US healthcare administration while working with stateoftheart electronic health record systems and HIPAAcompliant communication platforms. As the practice grows and implements new technologies you ll have the opportunity to expand your skills and take on additional responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient billing processes using QuickBooks and secure HIPAAcompliant systems
- Answer incoming calls professionally and conduct new patient intake interviews
- Process and organize patient documentation through secure electronic systems
- Create and maintain digital patient folders and filing systems
- Handle secure communication through HIPAAcompliant platforms
- Input and verify patient demographic information in electronic health records
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate new patient onboarding and paperwork
- Support the implementation and maintenance of new healthcare software systems
- Ensure all communications and documentation meet HIPAA compliance standards
Requirements
- Proven experience with QuickBooks and healthcare billing processes
- MUST HAVE WINDOWS OS COMPUTER
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems particularly Advanced MD or similar platforms
- Previous experience working with US medical practices
- Strong English communication skills both verbal and written
- Professional phone manner and exceptional customer service abilities
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality requirements
- Dedicated quiet workspace with professional environment
- Reliable highspeed internet connection
- Ability to work set hours during US Eastern Time business hours
