Job Description

- Management of processing of accounting records
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Process accounting records up to trial balance
- Reconciliation and variance reports based on financial management information
- Month and year end journals and/or provisions
- Financial statements in accordance with relevant account framework
- Finalise year end check list
- Hand over accounting files to auditors
- Management of processing of audit journals
- Payroll administration and review of payroll administration
- Assist with latest software updates
- VAT; PAYE/UIF returns; reconciliations and payments
- IRP5 certificates and reconciliations
- WCA returns and reconciliations
- Preparation/ review/ submission of bi annual EMP501 returns
Requirements
- Finance Degree / Diploma
- Completed SAIPA / CIMA articles
- Pastel experience advantageous
- The ability to take ownership of work manage time effectively meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent computer proficiency with advanced experience in Excel
- Superior written and verbal communication skills (English and Afrikaans)
- Strong decisionmaking and problemsolving skills and exceptional judgement
