This is a 9week paid hybrid summer internship (June 9 August 8 based in our Milwaukee office.

Be a vital part of our Milwaukeebased Business Development team as we drive leads and growth for Flexera. This $630M global tech leader specializes in IT management and cloud cost optimization.

The Flexera Sales Development intern will be very important within the Flexera Sales organization because its designed to teach you Sales and put it to the test with realworld Sales experience. You will uncover new sales opportunities follow up and qualify leads and partner with Field Sales Account Managers. Youll be trained in the latest technology Sales techniques and work closely with our Sales and Marketing managers.

In this role our Flexera Summer 2025 interns will:

• Contact Flexera prospects and customers via phone email & LinkedIn
• Understand persona and solutionbased selling
• Learn how to conduct a qualification & discovery call
• Utilize top industry Sales Tools including AI and learn how technology is changing Sales & Marketing
• Assist with the of Sales Development campaigns as instructed entering information into the CRM database as instructed
• Learn skills like opening calls overcoming objections handing off prospects to Sales and asking for a meeting
• Work in a unique environment alongside the existing Sales Development team seeing how they find success
• Deliver an exciting project as a team and in a fun competitive environment

Minimum required skills & experience:

• Excellent professional communication skills both written and verbal
• Wants to learn Sales or give it a try
• Be in Milwaukees downtown office 35 days a week during the internship (schedule to be provided)
• Highly selfmotivated
• Proficiency in all MS Office Applications including Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
• Seeking a bachelors degree in a businessrelated or similar area

Preferred skills & experience:

• Database / Salesforce experience
• Knowledge of and or experience with the sales process

In addition to daytoday responsibilities as part of our summer intern program interns will participate in:

• Group project and exposure to Flexera leaders

• Social connection points with our other interns
• Learning among our current Sales Development team in Milwaukee
