Work for a bag manufacturer as a National Sales Manager in the Mid West region:
The National Sales Manager is responsible for the sales of the companys products and services. Ensures consistent profitable growth in sales revenues through strategic planning. Identifies objectives and action plans to improve short and longterm sales and earnings.
*Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all companys products.
*Accurately forecast annual quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
*Achieve monthly and annual budgets.
*Works closely with Customer Service Manager to ensure customer satisfaction and business accountability.
*Thoroughly understands our valueproposition and matches it to customer needs.
*Understands market dynamics and develops a sales plan to maximize results.
*Utilizes proven and creative sales techniques to exceed goals and objectives.
*Works with sales team to optimize performance and territory growth.
*Works to establish addon business with existing customers.
*Works to build long term relationships with customer base.
*Achieves monthly and annual budgets.
*Maintains uptodate knowledge base of entire product line.
*Works closely with Client Services Manager to ensure customer satisfaction and business accountability.
*Provide accurate price quotes in a timely manner to customers.
*Identifying programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth sales of emerging products and multiproduct sales profitability improved presentation strategies competitive strategies proper use and level of sales support management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.
*Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
*Supports CRM system (sales leads prospective business new business activity addon business activity forecasting quota details etc..
*Interprets short and longterm effects on sales strategies in operating profit.
*Attends industry and product related training programs conferences seminars and educational forums.
*Adheres to company safety policies and procedures.
*Responsible for reporting issues related to Food Packaging safety or quality.
*Experience: 10 years transferable work related experience in outside or inside sales preferably in a manufacturing environment.
*Career showing progressive sales experience and success in manufacturing companies with progressive and contemporary practices.
*Computer experience including proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word Outlook and Internet Explorer
*Proven analytical and abstract reasoning skills.
*Degree: Fouryear Undergraduate Degree required in Sales Marketing Engineering or Management; Graduate degree preferred.
*Drivers License Required.
