Clarification:
Please beaware that this application is intended specifically for Student Teacher/Counselor/Social Worker or Administrative Intern these purposes Studentteacher means any studentwho is enrolled in an institution of higher learning approved by the StateBoard of Education for training and who is jointly assigned by theinstitution of higher learning and a board of education of a school district toperform practice teaching under the direction of a regularly employed andcertified teacher. A student teacher while serving an internship under thesupervision of a certified teacher shall be accorded the same protection ofthe laws as that accorded the certified teacher.
Pleasenote: Requests for fulfillment of any other Experiential Educationrequirements (including but not limited to: Externships Observations orPracticums through Athletics Health and Wellness Language and CulturalServices etc. are not processed through this application.
What toExpect:
All Tulsa Public Schoolsstudentteachers will be considered for placementviathisapplication. When completing your application you will be asked toshare your placement preferences with us. While we will make every attempt tomatch you with a placement that meets your needs Tulsa Public Schools cannotguarantee accommodation of specific placement requests or preferences.
