About the opportunity:
Wellestablished employed physician group in Central Pennsylvania is seeking to recruit an Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon to join the team in Lewisburg PA.
Qualifications:
- SUN Orthopaedics of Evangelical is comprised of 8 surgeons and 8 physician assistants with a 30 year established community practice.This opportunity is available due to program expansion.
- Outpatient practice is provided at a newly renovated office on the hospital campus which includes an ASC with additional 4 satellite office locations.
- Newly constructed Orthopaedic inpatient floor with reputable Enhanced Recovery Total Joint Program.
- Surgeries performed at Evangelical Community Hospital and The Evangelical Ambulatory Surgery Center.
- Competitive straight base compensation model negotiable sign on bonus and moving expenses.
- Generous CME/subscription allowance and ten 10 educational days off.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
Licenses:
- Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
- Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
- Certification from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery or the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Upon Hire Required and
- Completion of an appropriate residency program. Upon Hire Required and
- Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of one or more WellSpan hospitals. Upon Hire Required
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Clinical skills and knowledge of emergency medicine techniques and occupational medicine.
- Teaching skills.
