About The Opportunity
This is a hands-on leadership role where youll work alongside your crew lead from the front and help guide and support junior staff on-site. Youll be instrumental in maintaining high standards and ensuring project timelines and quality expectations are met.
Reporting directly to the Site Supervisor your responsibilities will include:
- Training motivating and mentoring junior staff
- Completing full re-roofing projects efficiently and to a high standard
- Conducting re-guttering gutter cleaning and general roofing tasks
- Installing insulated panel roof systems cladding and solar systems
- Using or learning job management software to coordinate daily tasks
- Leading by example with a strong work ethic reliability and attention to detail
About You
Were looking for someone who takes initiative leads by doing and brings a team-first attitude.
To be successful youll have:
- Physical fitness and pride in workmanship
- A valid White Card and working at heights certification
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
- Confidence and capability to train and support junior staff
- At least 4 years experience in roofing especially re-roofing
- Experience with (or willingness to learn) job management software
This role is about being on-site setting the pace and showing the team how its done not sitting behind a desk.
