Please note that as this opportunity is available in King County employees assigned to a permanent duty station in King County will receive a 5 premium pay calculated from their base salary.
Some of what you will doThe Psychology Associate position will be primarily responsible for psychological and behavioral analysis services for persons with developmental disabilities. This includes but is not limited to:
- Coordinating crisis stabilization services
- Providing consultation evaluation program planning and staff training
- Writing Positive Behavior Support Plans
- Testing evaluating and diagnosing newly admitted residents
- Evaluating existing programs and individual clients
What were looking for those with the ability to:
- Meet communicate and work effectively with a variety of people
- Intervene with individuals families and team members in a constructive problem solving process
- Maintain records data and confidential information
- Plan and develop effective behavioral intervention strategies
- Use computer systems such as email Microsoft Word Excel Outlook etc.
- Read interpret and implement complex policies rules and regulations
- Apply principles of applied behavior analysis to individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or developmental disabilities
- Prepare clear concise reports evaluations programs and recommendations
Who should apply
Those with a Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited school or department of psychology
OR
Those with a Masters degree in psychology from an accredited school or department of psychology AND two 2 years of experience as a behavioral analyst working with individuals with developmental disabilities intellectual disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses.
Please note:This position performs activities that meet the definition of counseling as defined in WAC. Applicants must have and maintain current Agency Affiliated Counselor certificate from the Washington State Department of Health.
