Job Title: IT Support Specialist

Pay: $19.00$19.23 p/h

Job Responsibilities

• Solid understanding of IT systems networking and software applications along with exceptional problemsolving and communication skills
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware software and networkrelated issues at lodging retail and food & beverage locations.
• Respond to service requests promptly both in person and remotely to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Perform onsite installation configuration and maintenance of IT equipment including computers peripherals POS systems and network devices.
• Collaborate with remote teams and individuals to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Adhere to Reunion Resort and Golf Club company procedures and policies
• Assist with the setup configuration and maintenance of network infrastructure including routers switches and wireless access points.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure seamless communication between onsite and remote locations.
• Work closely with network administrators to implement and enforce network security measures.
• Provide support for business software applications including Point of Sale (POS) systems property management systems and other industryspecific software.
• Assist endusers with software installations updates and configurations.
• Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to help employees understand and effectively utilize software applications.
• Manage hardware inventory including computers tablets printers scanners and other peripheral devices.
• Coordinate repairs and warranty services for faulty or damaged hardware.
• Assist with hardware procurement ensuring compliance with organizational standards and budgetary guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of all support requests troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
• Create and update technical documentation user guides and standard operating procedures.
• Prepare regular reports on support activities including key metrics and trends.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to lodging retail and food & beverage sectors.
• Evaluate new hardware and software solutions providing recommendations to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
• Collaborate with IT teams to plan and implement technology upgrades and projects.
• Completing any other task/duties assigned

• Position requires flexibility in scheduling including AM/PM shifts weekends and holidays. Will be required to participate in a 24/7 oncall rotation.
• Must have attention to detail strong ability to multitask and timemanagement skills
• IT experience of at least 3 years is required. Hospitality experience is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft software programs.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Must be able to sit stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to complete repetitive motions during shift such as bending stooping squatting climbing etc.
• Ability to travel to various locations to provide handson support and ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
• Must be able to lift push pull and carry up to 50lbs.
• Experience with network infrastructure setup troubleshooting and security.
• Advanced background in general Microcomputer hardware software and networking installation troubleshooting and repair.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems hardware software and networking principles.
• Flexible nature with the ability to learn new systems applications and tools quickly.
• Familiarity with POS systems property management systems and industryspecific software is highly desirable.
• Experience managing software service or network projects and rollouts.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and priorities.
• Ability to travel as required in support of other IT support teams or for assigned projects/properties.
