Position Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled and motivated Employment Law Attorney to join our practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling a diverse range of employment law cases including wrongful termination discrimination wage and hour disputes and workplace harassment. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging and impactful cases while contributing to our firms mission of ensuring justice and fair treatment in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in employment law cases including litigation arbitration and mediation.
- Provide expert legal advice on employmentrelated issues including but not limited to wrongful termination discrimination wage and hour claims and employment contracts.
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings motions and settlement agreements.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in employment law and relevant case law.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in administrative hearings and court proceedings.
- Collaborate with colleagues and provide mentorship to junior attorneys and legal staff.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the legal process.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in employment law including significant experience in litigation.
- Strong understanding of California employment law and relevant federal regulations.
- Excellent analytical research and writing skills.
- Proven ability to handle complex cases and manage a caseload effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
