Waking Night Worker

For over 30 years SWAAY have been providing specialised highquality care for young males aged 1118 with developmental trauma attachment difficulties and who have displayed sexually harmful behaviour.
We are looking for a caring and committed Waking Night Worker to join us in continuing to provide outstanding tailored therapeutic support to our young people within one of our 4 bed residential homes.
As a Waking Night Worker at SWAAY it is essential that you are able to remain awake and alert throughout your shift in order to safeguard our young people. You will work with openness and compassion with an ability to set and maintain boundaries to keep our young people safe.
Your main responsibilities include:
You may already have experience working with young people in a residential setting or this may be a new career move for you no matter what your previous experience may be we are committed to developing you in your new position. It would be great if you have an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) however if not we will enroll you onto the diploma and fully support you in achieving this qualification.
