Job Description

Front Office Night Manager

Providing engaging sincere personalized service is one of the ways our Front Office Colleagues are turning moments into memories for our guests at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Showcase your interpersonal strengths as Night Manager where you will lead train and recognize your team in support of exceptional guest service! 

Salary Range: $65000 - $69000 gross annually based on previous experience and education

This is a full-time permanent position beginning in August 2025.

Job Duties Include:

  • Familiar with all policies and procedures relating to the Front Desk Security Reservations Royal Service Guest Services Health Club Housekeeping and Night Audit.
  • Communicate through pre-shift logs emails and departmental meetings all pertinent information for the respective shift and areas of operation
  • Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
  • Be knowledgeable with all emergency procedures and ensure that they are kept current and adhered to in all areas
  • Conducts and coordinates timely reviews for the overnight team
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure the smooth management of operations including Accounting with the balancing of accounts
  • Complete end-of-day reports and balance day accounts for the Accounting department
  • Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and prepare posting of adjustments and revenue write-offs
  • Ensure that a high level of guest satisfaction is achieved at all times and that complaints are handled efficiently

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of one year previous proven supervisory experience
  • Passion for guest service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset
  • Experience with a hotel loyalty program an asset
