Description

The People Partner supports the Area Italy & Croatia in developing and maintaining DNVs culture and business goals through professional and consistent HR deliveries throughout the unit. The People Partner shall advise challenge support and partner with the Management Team in HR related matters and is responsible for driving the People strategy and local initiatives and projects.

The People Partner shall plan coordinate support followup and improve the HR activities within Area Italy & Croatia in accordance with the framework in the DNV strategy budget the DNV Management system (DMSG) and other instructions given by the Regional People Manager People Director and Chief People Officer. The People Partner shall actively promote support and facilitate the fulfilment of DNVs Purpose Vision and Values Leadership in DNV principles and shall foster a culture of cooperation across the Business Area. The People Partner shall have at all times DNVs best interest in focus.

The People Partner will be key in supporting the Team with HR reporting analytics projects and other initiatives while ensuring that annual HR processes are aligned and consistently delivered.

Part of the People team of Business Assurance the People Partner will report to the Regional People Manager South Europe & Africa.

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Development of an employeeoriented company culture that emphasizes quality continuous improvement high performance key employee retention and development and high performance
  • Drive and/or support the implementation of annual People processes relating to compensation performance review talent management succession planning and employee engagement
  • Partner with management to identify priority areas to address people related issues with a view to design plan and implement HR solutions
  • Provide advice and services to Managers on People topics related to workforce planning hiring employee engagement performance management people development and training.
  • Provide coaching to Line Managers on topics related to leadership team effectiveness and people engagement
  • Lead HR related projects and initiatives as requested and agreed with People Director & Regional People Manager
  • Participate in business manager level and team forums to understand the business drivers and provide input into future plans of Area Italy & Croatia
  • Monitoring of local legislation and ensure local HR requirements and practices comply
  • Challenging and supporting line managers on managing people performance including development deployment and retention
  • Management of people plans and ownership of the recruitment activity for the Area including local Employer Branding initiatives
  • Build talent pipeline activity plan using local resource and networks identify opportunities to enhance succession pipeline.

Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of broad HR experience ideally in multinational environments in several HR fields such as change management recruitment people development training employee engagement etc.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field with a specialization in Human Resources being a strong plus.
  • High quality written and excellent oral English communication skills.
  • Experience of working closely with senior stakeholders to gain buyin and being able to support HR and company initiatives
  • Good understanding of Human Resources recognition andengagement programs and processes
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities concurrently
  • General knowledge of Italy employment laws and practices
  • Excellent people and interpersonal skills including ability to read people and their contexts
  • Highly collaborative with demonstrative ability to develop and maintain effective and positive working relationships
  • Able to challenge the status quo think outside of the box and promote innovative ideas
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethics
  • Able to handle high level of complexity and ambiguity.
