Job Description
Our Client:Based out of Bath our client provides a Wealth Management Platform for their clients to simplify the complex world of investment.
The Role:We are looking for a dedicated Product Owner to be the point person in their software delivery.
Its Purpose:The Product Owner will be responsible for defining the product vision and managing the product development process. As a product owner you will plan and manage the development project from start to finish and ensure that the product meet the business needs.
The Person:The Product Owner will be able to lead the product development team toward achieving the vision and mission of the organization. They will be detailoriented and have excellent organizational leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Strategizing and presenting ideas to stakeholders
- Defining product features according to customer needs
- Leading the development process
- Acting as the main point of contact between teams and stakeholders
- Managing and prioritizing product backlog items
- Assisting the scrum/product development team to meet the objectives of each sprint
- Adjusting and improving each iteration of the product before release
- Identifying areas of improvement
- Keeping customers and stakeholders informed of the status of the product
About you
Essential:
- Previous working experience as a product owner
- Indepth knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Strong communication skills written and verbal
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Desirable:
- BA in computer science information systems or related field.
- Similar role held in a Wrap Platform business
- Financial Service knowledge
- Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask..
- Energetic flexible collaborative and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical development initiatives.
- Selfreliant good problem solver results oriented.
- Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker
