The role
Its an exciting time at OSS as we continue to work on many new product opportunities and establish flight model product lines. To support that effort and as our business grows we are looking to recruit a Test Technician.
This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our expert teams across our innovative product portfolios testing products for mechanical and thermal subsystem and system level functionality safety compliance and performance. This role will be responsible for assembling test set ups conducting prescribed tests and compiling reports on the finding and test data providing recommendations at a technical or procedural level for improvements as needed. This role will also ensure test equipment is maintained in accordance with the schedule and remains in good working order.
You are likely to be an experienced test technician already proficient with test procedures and protocols coupled with knowledge of testing equipment specifically thermal vacuum chambers laser scanner Climatic chambers and tensile test machine. You will also have excellent report writing and analysis skills as well as being a team player with excellent relationship building skills along with the aptitude to solve challenging problems and deliver to project deadlines.
