GHD is seeking a dedicatedEngineering Construction Support intern to join our team and provide construction support services for the Maritime and Coastal team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain handson experience.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Construction quantity take offs
- Development of construction schedules
- Administrative support for the Project Manager (Assembly of bid packages copying communications with prospective bidders regulatory agencies and designers)
- Other support for GHD projects (if available)
Expected Learning Outcomes:
- Organization and process of public works construction projects
- Increased knowledge of marine structures design and construction
- Practice in material take offs and construction scheduling
- Ability to deal with owners regulators designers
What you will bring to the team:
- 3rd or 4th year standing at the end of the academic year
- Engineering / Oceanography background preferred
- Demonstrated communication and problemsolving ability
- MS Excel Word proficiency

Salary Range: $23 to $26 per hour
