Job Description
Located on our historic campus in Towson Maryland Sheppard Pratt School and Residential Treatment Center (RTC) is a Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) approved level V nonpublic school. We offer a yearround therapeutic educational and residential program catering to youths ages 1218 with severe emotional and behavioral disabilities. Our comprehensive program offers structured community and recreational activities alongside fullday special and general education schooling.
What to expect.
As the Clinical Director you will oversee clinical services provided to adolescents aged 1218 in a multidisciplinary setting. This role involves assisting in the integration of clinical and traumainformed care into both residential and school environments while working collaboratively to make a meaningful impact on students and their families.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Oversee clinical services at a 46bed residential treatment center for youth ages 1218 with emotional and behavioral disorders.
- Supervise social work therapy services and case management teams ensuring effective service delivery.
- Collaborate with the Program Director Residential Nursing Supervisor Medical Director and School Principal to create a traumainformed youthcentered therapeutic environment.
- Ensure clinical services comply with Joint Commission state and health system standards.
- Manage admissions and discharges ensuring appropriate fit between residents and the program.
- Lead and guide treatment teams in the implementation of individualized treatment plans providing support as needed.
- Contribute to budget planning policy development and ensuring compliance with licensing accreditation and regulatory standards.

What we need from you.
- Possession of Board Approved Supervisor status is required.
A Counselor must have one of the following at time of hire:
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
A Social Worker must have one of the following at time of hire or must submit required documents to apply for licensure within 30 days of accepting the position:
- Licensed Certified Social Worker Clinical (LCSWC)
Per MSDE requirements a social worker filling this position must also provide verification of having completed 3 semester hours or Stateapproved CPD credits in special education and possess a MSDE Certification as a School Social Worker.
The pay range for this position is $71986 minimum to $114899.20 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to license and years and level of related experience.
