Job Description

Position Criteria:

  • Valid Iowa teaching license required
  • 512Math endorsement required

Performance Criteria:

  • Pushin services in math classrooms.
  • Targeted intervention support and progress monitoring.
  • Family/community liaisons for school.
  • Case management for atrisk students.
  • Advocate for students success in all areas (academics social/emotional behavior).
  • Ongoing collaboration with teachers and administrators.
  • Delivery of professional development in a variety of ways.
  • Implementation of Maximizing Predictability strategies.
  • Support implementation ofMTSS Process.
  • Successful experience of implementing researchbased instructional practices including implementation of the Framework for Meeting the Needs of All Learners.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development as described in the Iowa Professional Development Standards and support of the Iowa Teaching Standards as the foundation from which to build that ongoing growth plan.
  • Ability to involve parents and the community in supporting student learning and healthy development.
  • Knowledge of characteristics of atrisk learners.
  • Evidence of initiative and motivation.
