The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Digital Marketing Intern in Waco TX.
Under the direction of the Chief Marketing Officer of the YMCA of Central Texas the Digital Marketing Intern will work directly with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop execute and maintain a comprehensive digital media strategy for Waco.
This role includes content creation social media monitoring and will help define the digital voice for our Waco branch in an effort to evolve and elevate the Ys digital presence and increase engagement/ participation in our programs.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Coordination of accurate and timely updates to webpages as needed (weekly)
Coordination of accurate and timely updates to all social media outlets (weekly)
Coordination of all TV monitors/Ads to ensure consistent Y message (weekly)
Coordination of messaging to be shared in the branches via Cardio Theater lobby TVs display flyers posters banners etc. (as needed)
Develops content for and maintains all social media sites creating and maintaining a relevant presence and voice actively engaging with members and program parents
Monitors website and social media traffic using analytics making content adjustments as needed
Gathers and analyzes data prepares monthly reporting and makes appropriate recommendations based on metrics
Adheres to best practices and processes for internal/external communications keeping in line with Association and YUSA branding standards
Skills/ Requirements:
Enrolled in a Bachelors degree program from a fouryear college or university.
Proficient in MS Office desktop publishing software Daxko Engage Marq Facebook Instagram
Working knowledge of WordPress with an understanding of HTML/CSS
Knowledge of how to prep artwork for both web and social media purposes
Pay Rate: $14$16 Hourly
