We are looking for a Senior Lead Software Engineer to join our top notch financial applications team. This role will be responsible for participating in an Agile team in maintaining and enhancing a sophisticated rules engine based product that services some of the largest financial institutions in the world.
We are made up of highperforming teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid which means youll be assigned to a Broadridge office and will work both onsite and remote.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design engineer and test software in accordance with company and team policies.
- Work in an Agile process with team members to develop high quality software that meets requirements.
- Research and embrace new technologies and approaches to assist the team in greater efficiencies. Participate in technical design roadmaps.
- Champion and follow the adoption of design and coding best practices and standards.
- Maintain compliance with corporate enterprise standards and policies.
QALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or equivalent degree related field
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a professional software engineering role
- Comprehensive knowledge of software architecture and agile SDLC
TECHNICAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Expert in Java and related Java technologies .NET acceptable as well)
- Strong experience with SQL Server stored procedures temp tables indexes query tuning
- Excellent knowledge of data structures algorithms patterns and antipatterns
- Thorough knowledge of multiprocessing threading synchronization concurrency latency bandwidth
- Knowledge of SOA DDD CQRS microservices
- Experience with a plus
- Strong experience in financial software applications and financial industry fundamentals
- Knowledge of industry trends advancements methodologies and best practices in cloud technologies including serverless architectures and advanced data storage techniques.
- Advanced analytic and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to see results to completion and to lead others to do so as well.
- Advanced problem solving and decisionmaking skills.
- Ability to consider others ideas seriously and accept feedback.
- Ability to think strategically.
- Ability to build and maintain credibility with others.
Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $160000 $180000. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidates final salary including but not limited to relevant experience skills and education.
