City Experiences is seeking a Paralegal for our Legal operations in Orlando
About You:
This person will be adaptable dynamic and embody City Experiences RESPECT Service System.
About the Opportunity:
The Legal Ops Specialist will hold a key position on the Hornblower Legal Team as well as the broader Hornblower Group. This position requires a greater attention to detail an elevated level of engagement and a desire to develop strong relationships with our different divisions and leaders across the Group.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain files of all material agreements corporate records correspondence and permits
- Provide administrative support for attorneys and other members of the legal team
- Review and code external counsel invoices for payment
- Identify business and legal issues and internal process improvements
- Prepare legal documents such as NDAs governance changes and contracts
- Assist with prelitigation including investigations discovery and case log indexing/tracking
- Assist with corporate entity maintenance and regulatory matters including liquor licensing
- Assist with the administration of compliance programs
- Complete special projects and other assignments and job duties as requested
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree required
- Paralegal certificate a bonus but not required
- 23 years of experience in legal ops or as a paralegal in a law firm and/or inhouse setting
- Florida notary public commission holder or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with the Microsoft suite
- Experience managing mediumtolargescale document productions
- Working knowledge with case management software a bonus but not required
