Job Overview
The Director of AI Strategy Governance and Tools at TMobile is tasked with spearheading the development and of artificial intelligence strategies that are in harmony with the companys overarching objectives. This executive role is responsible for the stewardship of governance frameworks ensuring that AI practices adhere to ethical standards and comply with all relevant regulations. They manage an extensive portfolio of internal AI tools and resources enhancing operational efficiencies and propelling innovation throughout the organization. In collaboration with various departments they guarantee the seamless integration of AI solutions that bolster business goals. This pivotal position solidifies TMobiles leadership in adopting and applying AI technology within the telecommunications sector significantly impacting the companys technical and operational advancement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes artificial intelligence strategies that align with the companys overarching objectives
  • Manages the governance frameworks to ensure AI practices adhere to ethical standards and comply with all relevant regulations
  • Oversees an extensive portfolio of internal AI tools and resources to enhance operational efficiencies
  • Collaborates with various departments to integrate AI solutions that support and enhance business goals
  • Propels innovation throughout the organization by leveraging AI technology
  • Ensures the seamless integration of AI technologies within the telecommunications sector


Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree Business Computer Science Data Science or Engineering (Required)
  • Masters/Advanced Degree Computer Science or Data Science (Preferred)
  • 10 years Leading the development and implementation of AI strategies in alignment with corporate objectives Required
  • 710 years Managing governance frameworks to ensure AI practices adhere to ethical standards and regulatory compliance Preferred
  • 710 years Overseeing a portfolio of AI tools and resources to enhance operational efficiencies and drive innovation Required


Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Strategic Thinking Ability to develop and implement forwardthinking strategies that align with the companys objectives in the AI and telecommunications sectors. (Required)
  • Leadership Capability to lead and inspire a team dedicated to AI strategy and governance fostering innovation and operational excellence. (Required)
  • Regulatory Compliance Deep understanding of AI ethics and compliance laws to ensure all AI tools and strategies meet legal standards. (Required)
  • Problem Solving Ability to identify analyze and resolve complex issues that arise during the integration and implementation of AI technologies. (Required)
  • Cross Functional Relationships Skills in collaborating with various departments to integrate AI solutions that support and enhance business objectives. (Required)
  • Technology Management Expertise in managing a portfolio of AI tools and resources ensuring they are effectively utilized to enhance operational efficiency. (Required)

    Base Pay Range: $207100 $280100

    Corporate Bonus Target: 25

    The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a yearend bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employees eligible earnings in the prior year.
