Job Description
Job Title: Certified Medication Aide CNA
Facility: Generations Ashe Assisted Living & Memory Care
Address: 182 Chattyrob Ln West Jefferson NC 28694
Contract: 6 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Pay Rate: $36 per hour
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
We are seeking a dependable Certified Medication Aide to join the care team at Generations Ashe Assisted Living & Memory Care. The ideal candidate will have experience administering medications and providing support to residents in a longterm care setting. Candidate must hold a CNA License and Medication Aide Certification and is expected to do CNA and Medication work while on shift.
Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications to residents according to facility protocols
- Monitor and document residents responses to medications
- Report any adverse reactions or changes in condition to nursing staff
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living as needed
- Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper storage
- Support the healthcare team with routine care tasks and documentation
- Follow all safety infection control and confidentiality procedures
