Responsibilities:
Review blueprints and project specifications to generate accurate cost estimates for electrical work on construction projects
Analyze project requirements identify value engineering options and provide cost breakdowns to project managers
Evaluate labor and material costs identify potential cost savings and analyze project requirement
Identify opportunities for value engineering and suggest costeffective alternatives while maintaining project quality
Provide cost breakdowns and assist project managers with project and budgeting
Develop accurate bid proposals for electrical projects considering various factors like labor materials and projectspecific conditions
Answer client questions about electrical work provide written briefs and clearly communicate project cost estimates
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years electrical estimating experience on Industrial and Commercial projects
Knowledge of electrical codes regulations and safety standards is crucial
Ability to read and interpret blueprints specifications and other technical drawings
Experience in developing accurate cost estimates for electrical projects
Ability to analyze complex situations identify potential issues and develop solutions
Ability to communicate effectively with clients project managers and other stakeholders
Strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations
Experience with Accubid and Microsoft Office
