ROLE: Quality Manager
LOCATION: Hertfordshire
SALARY:per annum
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance function and ensure compliance with industry customer and regulatory standards. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring adherence to AS9100 ISO9001 and NADCAP and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain regulatory approvals including AS9100 ISO9001 and NADCAP.
- Manage and update Quality Manuals Procedures and Compliance Matrices.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and manage internal and external audits including customer and regulatory audits.
- Develop and maintain an effective Internal Audit Program.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives using tools like FMEA 8D and Root Cause Analysis.
- Act as the primary contact for customer qualityrelated issues.
- Manage customer returns conducting thorough investigations using methodologies such as 8D 5 Whys and Ishikawa (Fishbone) Analysis.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by overseeing PPAP PFMEA and DVI processes.
- Monitor and improve supplier quality performance maintaining the Approved
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Management within an AS9100certified environment.
- Knowledge of NADCAP (PRI) requirements.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Experience in internal auditing for AS9100 & ISO9001.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in problemsolving tools (FMEA 8D SPC PPAP PFMEA).
- Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspection processes.
- Knowledge of Process Mapping 5 Whys and Ishikawa analysis.
