Job Description

City FM Australia is a Global leader in Facilities Management Engineering Construction and Energy solutions. We are committed to supporting our team and ensuring safe & reliable services to our partners.

The Opportunity:
Within this new Waste Coordinator role youll be the key point of contact for planning coordinating and executing waste disposal activities for a highprofile national entertainment facility.

Based in the Sydney office (located within the Harbour vicinity) youll ensure services are compliant with environmental regulations and aligned with operational schedules while actively driving improvements and waste reduction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage both reactive and scheduled waste services in line with contracts and environmental guidelines.
  • Coordinate readiness for waste services prior to site openings or events.
  • Collaborate with management to align waste services with project timelines.
  • Conduct postevent audits and inspections to resolve wasterelated issues.
  • Track and analyse waste data to improve processes and ensure KPI compliance.
  • Liaise with internal teams contractors and suppliers to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement in waste processes and service quality.
  • Contribute to transformation and improvement initiatives within waste management operations.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Tertiary or higher qualification in Business Administration or a related technical stream.
  • Proven experience in strong administrative planning and coordination experience.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail within a fastpaced environment.
  • Experience in minor project planning and coordination.
  • Proficiency in operating systems and applications.
  • Full Australian working rights and clear recent police check.
