Are you ready to be a pivotal force in Advancing Health Outcomes For All Were looking for a Sr Manager Credit to join our Financial Services and Solutions (FSS) organization where our focus is being a strategic business partner who creates value provides efficiency and ensures compliance for McKesson. In FSS youll gain exposure to all McKesson businesses while growing as a finance professional and fostering collaborative relationships with internal and external customers.
Job Responsibilities:
This is a key leadership position within the Credit and Collections organization overseeing credit onboarding operations. The Senior Manager Credit will continuously look for ways to improve credit onboarding through process development system development and people development. Our ideal candidate will have experience driving innovation using AI tools to summarize data and drive efficiences to help move the business foward. To be successful in this role you must develop strong relationships with stakeholders then understand what they need and determine how the credit onboarding team can best meet those needs.
Other responsibilities include:
Credit Onboarding Activities
Oversee the accurate and timely processing of credit applications in accordance with credit policies and procedures.
Develop and implement performance metrics to ensure the teams efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with various teams to understand and then deliver a bestinclass customer experience
Continuous Process Improvement
Foster a digital growth mindset to identify new opportunities to enhance the credit review and approval process
Assist with development of various tools and reporting to drive accountability
Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging trends
Communication & Reporting
Establish relationships with key stakeholders and intersections
Lead credit onboarding review meetings focusing on the reasons for onboarding delays and how the process can be improved
Utilize strong problemsolving skills and analytics to identify communicate and resolve credit onboarding delays
Talent management
Lead mentor and develop the Credit teams local and virtual talent to achieve departmental goals as well as their own professional goals while ensuring compliance with credit policies and holding team members accountable for performance expectations.
Set clear objectives provide regular feedback and support the professional development of team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field or related experience and 9 years of experience in related finance or accounting roles with at least 2 years of people management experience in onsite and virtual environments
Strong understanding of financial statements tax returns and cash flow
Proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC)
High level of proficiency in Excel including manipulation of large data sets and visualization in pivot table structures that facilitates presentation and understanding of key insights
Excellent relationship building and communication with customer/stakeholder/business partners
Strategic thinking and business acumen
Project management and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
