Job Title: BOH & Purchasing Manager

We are looking for a dedicated BOH & Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team and help us continue to deliver exceptional experiences to our guests.

Job Description: As the BOH & Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the backofhouse operations and managing the purchasing process to ensure our outlets runs smoothly and efficiently. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the high standards of service and quality that our guests expect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hospitality is at our core: Ensure that all BOH operations contribute to a seamless and welcoming experience for our guests.
  • We do the right thing: Maintain ethical standards in purchasing and supplier relationships ensuring transparency and integrity.
  • We pursue excellence: Continuously improve BOH processes and systems to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • We are all entrepreneurs: Innovate and implement costeffective purchasing strategies that support our business goals.

Specific Duties:

  • Manage inventory and stock levels to prevent shortages and overstock.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food to ensure it meets our quality standards.
  • Train and supervise BOH staff fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor and control costs to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the restaurant and hospitality industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of HACCP inventory systems and sustainability best practices.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Detailoriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation.
  • Familiar with ERP and stock management tools (MEMobile Enterprise & Primavera)
  • Fluent in both Portuguese and English
  • Comfortable working early hours (receiving shifts)
