Tasks
Social Media Manager Content & Brand Alignment
As a Social Media Manager at NorthScale your primary responsibility is to create visually compelling strategically aligned content that reflects the brand direction and voice across all platforms. You will work closely with the brand strategy team to ensure all content adheres to NorthScales identity campaign objectives and longterm vision. You will not be responsible for publishing scheduling or performance reporting your zone of genius is in crafting content that speaks with purpose.
1. Crafting OnBrand Content
- Create original highquality content that aligns with NorthScales brand identity values and creative direction.
- Collaborate with the strategy team to understand campaign goals messaging angles and brand positioning.
- Design static and video assets for Instagram LinkedIn and other relevant platforms using brandapproved frameworks.
- Ensure consistency in tone aesthetic and messaging across all content formats.
2. Aligning with Strategic Direction
- Participate in weekly creative briefings to align on messaging direction and upcoming initiatives.
- Translate business strategy into visual storytelling that enhances brand authority and audience resonance.
- Adapt content according to specific audience segments and the nuances of each platforms culture.
- Collaborate with the brand director to iterate and evolve the visual language as the company grows.
3. Maintaining Creative Excellence
- Stay updated on industry design trends social media shifts and visual best practices to keep content fresh and engaging.
- Ensure all assets are properly named formatted and delivered for seamless integration by the distribution team.
- Organize and manage content libraries to keep creative resources accessible and categorized.
- Work with external creatives or contractors when needed to scale design efforts while maintaining visual integrity.
Requirements
- 35 years of experience in social media content creation (preferably for premium/B2B brands)
- Strong portfolio of branded highperforming content
- Solid grasp of branding audience psychology and platform trends
- Proficient in design/video tools (Adobe Suite Canva CapCut etc.
- Skilled in Instagram LinkedIn and TikTok content formats
- Sharp eye for layout typography and visual consistency
- Able to follow and elevate brand guidelines
- Comfortable turning briefs into polished visual content
- Organized with file delivery and content systems (Notion Drive etc.
- Strong written English for copy alignment and context
- Selfdriven with excellent attention to detail
