PAMFPalo Alto Medical Foundation PADPosition Overview:
Coordinates the overall operation of the pharmacy technicians including staffing and work assignments of the technicians. Serves as the liaison between the department and staff information systems physicians patients family and other site staff. Performs pharmaceutical procedures for medication preparation and distribution that ensures safe effective and costefficient medication therapy. Exercises sound judgment and has developed clinical skills to provide pharmaceutical support to the patients plan of care based on the diagnosis in a timely manner. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations codes policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety. May also be responsible for performing specific tasks and/or orient other staff to the department.Job Description:

EDUCATION:
Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program
OR Met Board of Pharmacy requirements to obtain registration
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
PHRMTECHRRegistered Pharmacy Technician
OR PHARMCCertified Pharmacy Technician
OR PHARMIPharmacy Intern
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
4 year recent relevant experience

Pay Range is $38.88 to $48.59 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidates experience education skills licensure and certifications department equity training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
