The Role:
As an Electrical Design Engineer youll be responsible for producing detailed electrical designs working closely with project teams and ensuring compliance with national and international standards.
What Youll Be Doing:
Designing and developing electrical systems including control panels generator controllers and UPS systems.
Producing accurate electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using CAD software.
Preparing technical quotations risk assessments and method statements.
Supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and commissioning.
Troubleshooting and providing technical support for electrical systems.
Collaborating with Project Managers Sales and Technical Teams to ensure projects are completed on time.
Documenting designs and maintaining compliance with industry and company standards.
About You:
Were looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with strong technical skills and a proactive problemsolving mindset. Youll need:
- ONC/HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design switchgear control panels and estimating.
- An understanding of industry regulations and safety standards.
- A commitment to highquality work and continuous improvement.
