The Role You Will Play
- Reporting to the Chief Actuary the Actuary P&C will be responsible for a wide spectrum of work including rate filings solvency work reinsurance contracts and even emerging technologies.
- This role will review insurance company financial statements and rate filings including adequacy consistency and transparency of key assumptions and methodologies.
- The Actuary P&C will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to investigate and review pricing and insurance methodologies provide insights and recommend changes to regulatory leaders.
- This role will contribute to the setting of standards and models for best practices relating to rating solvency and planning processes tools monitors and implementations.
- In this role you will be empowered to impact the insurance industry in a meaningful way staying advised of industry trends and keeping current on new techniques.

Background Profile
- 5 years of actuarial experience within the P&C space
- Expertise with financial statement reserves and Statement of Actuarial Opinion as well as actuarial structure of Property & Casualty
- Working knowledge of insurance company operations
- Familiarity with various business software applications
- Bachelors degree and Credentialed by either SOA: ASA/FSA or CAS: ACAS/FCAS
