About Us:
affinity landscapes Ltd is an independently owned landscaping company dedicated to serving our client base across South East England for over 20 years.
What were looking for
Due to the continuing growth of our business we are seeking to recruit an experienced grounds/landscape maintenance team leader to work with and lead a small team of our skilled & experienced landscapers.
You will be required to manage and run the landscape and grounds maintenance on site from start to finish carrying out tasks using relevant horticultural machinery as required.
You will already be a strong team player but also confident to work alone when needed with a keen eye for detail and a positive can do attitude to your work.
Based in Farnham you will travel to client sites & return using Company vehicles based upon the operational schedule.
Experience required
- Experience in all aspects of grounds and landscape maintenance: 2 years
- Ability to lead by example ensuring that the team are clear on tasks and working to a high standard
- Experience in using horticultural machinery
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Great communication skills
- Good time management skills
- A positive and can do approach
- Ability to lead by example
- Clean manual UK driving license with the ability to drive LCVs
- The normal working hours are 7.30am to 4.00pm with the occasional Saturday. Overtime will be available.
- DBS check
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Good practical handyman skills
- PA1 / PA6 Pesticide License
- Trailer towing entitlement
