Job Description

Precision Aviation Group (PAG) is a leading provider of products and valueadded services to the aerospace and defense industries worldwide. With over 1.1 million squarefeet of sales and services facilities in the United States Canada Australia Singapore Brazil PAGs 27 locations and customerfocused business model serve aviation customers through Supply Chain and Inventory Supported Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (ISMRO) services.

Job Purpose

The Customer Service Representative will provide exceptional customer support to both internal and external clients by leveraging an indepth understanding of PAGs products and services. Ideal candidates will enjoy and have experience relevant to:

  • Sales support functions
  • Phone based customer support
  • Computer based order processing
  • Complex product lists
  • Receiving and resolving customer questions and concerns
  • Maintaining customer database and history
  • Producing reports

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers regularly (weekly/daily) for updates on inprogress jobs via phone or email.
  • Resolve customer inquiries related to jobs and quotes promptly.
  • Manage customer quote approvals requoting as necessary ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with production shipping warehouse and common carriers to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
  • Ensure quotes are processed efficiently and within defined timeframes.

Essential Job Functions

  • Collaborate effectively with other departments and individuals within the organization.
  • Have strong team orientation
  • Competency in Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Ability to read and write English follow verbal instructions and use basic math
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers ensuring repeat business.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to summarize data and trends clearly
  • Ability to work overtime shift/weekends when needed
  • Possess knowledge of the aviation industry and airline Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) processes.

Working Conditions

  • Physical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods frequent walking bending and reaching. Occasional squatting lifting carrying pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds. Repetitive hand movement eyehand coordination and manual dexterity required. Corrected vision and hearing to normal range necessary.

Education/Training

  • High school diploma required; a college degree in a businessrelated field is preferred.

Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience in customer service sales or a related field preferably in the aviation industry.
