Roles and responsibilities
Environment Monitoring & Support: Actively monitor lower environments using tools such as Datadog and respond to alerts and reported issues to ensure continuous availability.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve environmentrelated issues using logs and monitoring tools to identify root causes and implement fixes swiftly.
Deployment Management: Coordinate and execute application deployments ensuring proper configuration and minimizing downtime.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with QA DevOps developers and leads to ensure seamless integration and system stability across environments.
Integration Oversight: Ensure all external and internal integrations are operational with a strong understanding of integration fundamentals.
QA Enablement: Ensure QA teams are not blocked due to environment or integration issues providing timely support and updates.
Client Coordination: Establish strong working relationships with client teams providing transparency and updates as needed.
Innovation & Improvement: Identify and suggest process or tool improvements to enhance environment stability observability and reliability.
Monitoring & Logs: Utilize Datadog and other monitoring/logging tools to proactively address issues and improve alerting mechanisms.
Experience managing environments in a Guidewire PolicyCenter application setup
Preferred Skill Set
Solid experience in application and environment support in an enterprise environment.
Strong knowledge of integration fundamentals (e.g. APIs messaging systemtosystem communication).
Handson experience with log analysis tools especially Datadog.
Ability to identify debug and fix environment issues efficiently.
Experience working in an Agile development and deployment cycle.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Education Qualification BTech/BE/MTech/MS/MCA/MBA.
Nice to Have
Working knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration.
Experience with automation and scripting for environment monitoring and maintenance.
