Job Description

Role Definition:
The Finance Executive will play a key role in managing all accounting transactions publishing financial statements handling monthend quarterend and yearend closings and ensuring compliance with all financial policies and regulations. The position demands high attention to detail and excellent proficiency in accounting practices as well as an ability to manage both daily financial activities and longterm financial reporting.


Responsibilities:

Manage All Accounting Transactions:
Oversee daytoday accounting transactions ensuring that they are accurately recorded and properly classified.

Publish Financial Statements on Time:
Prepare and present timely accurate and detailed financial statements including balance sheets profit and loss statements and cash flow reports.

Handle Monthly Quarterly and Annual Closings:
Manage the closing of monthly quarterly and annual financial records ensuring that all entries are completed and reconciled on time.

Reconcile Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Review and reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances to ensure that all outstanding invoices are settled in a timely manner and that accounts are accurate.

Ensure Timely Bank Payments:
Oversee and ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors and service providers maintaining healthy cash flow and avoiding overdue payments.

Compute Taxes and Prepare Tax Returns:
Calculate tax liabilities and ensure the preparation of accurate tax returns in compliance with local laws and regulations.

Manage Balance Sheets and Profit/Loss Statements:
Maintain accurate and uptodate balance sheets and profit/loss statements for internal and external reporting purposes.

Audit Financial Transactions and Documents:
Conduct internal audits to verify the accuracy of financial transactions and documents identifying discrepancies and ensuring compliance with internal policies.

Reinforce Financial Data Confidentiality and Conduct Backups:
Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial data taking appropriate measures such as regular backups to protect sensitive financial information.

Comply with Financial Policies and Regulations:
Adhere to company financial policies industry regulations and best practices ensuring compliance in all financial operations.


Role Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
  • Handson experience with accounting software
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • Accounting Finance or relevant degree
