About the role
A new opportunity has come available for 2 x experienced Personal Care Assistants to join our Home Care team in Darwin on a fulltime permanent basis. This role attracts a salary of $32.50 $35.01 / hour (pending skills and experience).
This role will see you travelling to peoples homes and providing inhome cleaning duties attending to appointments and general care duties in accordance with their approved care plan.
This role will also include highclean duties which include more indepth cleaning such as windows ceiling fans etc.
As the ideal candidate you will be comfortable travelling to our consumers homes to primarily deliver cleaning services and will have a reliable and fully insured vehicle. This role will have a large portion of cleaning / domestic duties applied. You must be comfortable to complete allocated cleaning tasks as part of this fulltime role.
As the successful candidate you will be kind and compassionate in your approach to our consumers and be understanding and supportive of their needs whilst able to interpret and understand their careplans and stick to the delegated services.
Please note: Visa or Immigration sponsorship is not available with this role.

Skills & experience:
To be successful in this role you must demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated experience in assisting with the activities of daily living in a community or Home Care setting.
- Comfortable to work where delegated tasks are primarily cleaning over delivering of care.
- NT Drivers license and access to a reliable and fully comprehensive insured vehicle.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage and work within a culturally diverse team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An ability to undertake a range of manual handling functions related to the role.
- Strong technical skills and able to log and complete tasks via mobile phones and apps.
