Job Description
We are looking for a fulltime nanny at our home in Merano Italy. We would prefer someone with a European passport (rather than only residence) as they would need to accompany us on occasional trips to the United States where we visit family. The person in this position would also need to assist in feeding our daughter and preparing meals as well as her laundry. This position would either be livein or we would provide accommodation nearby. We are both stay at home parents so they would work in a supportive role.
Up to date, enhanced criminal background check Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate
Family travels frequently and often stays in other homes for up to a month. To New York Thailand other European destinations.
Parents follow gentle parenting practices and are babylead.
No nights needed as baby is cosleeping with parents.
They would highly appreciate a nanny with Montessori or Waldorf training or similar.
A sporty outdoorsy active nanny will be best. The family loves the outdoors and their daughter is active. Nanny should be strong and fit and be able to lift their daughter. she is already tall.
They live in a small alpine town amenities are walkable. A driving nanny would be preferred but is not essential.
Mum has a health condition which means she can get tired. Dad has projects to do but they are both hands on. Looking for a lovely kind fun active professional nanny to work with them for long term.
Requirements
EU passport
Completely fluent English speaking nanny preferably also speaks either German or Italian
minimum 4 years previous full time nanny experience good references
Happy with sole and shared care
previous experience working for a VIP family preferred
Up to date Enhanced DBS (on the DBS update service if in UK)
Looking for a long term position.
Team player attitude happy to work collaboratively alongside the parents.
Healthy fit able to run after small children
Please note this is a strictly Nonsmoking position.
