Job Description
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in upholding and enforcing school rules administrative procedures and board polices;
- Maintains a classroom environment that is safe orderly and conducive to effective learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of all students;
- Meets and instructs assigned classes as scheduled;
- Follows teachers lesson plans and daily schedule;
- Follows procedures and guidelines listed in the Dorchester County Substitute Handbook;
- Completes substitute reports as required.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age;
- Must possess a High School diploma or GED;
- Must pass a criminal background check;
- Must complete the Safe Schools Training Program;
- Must attend the DCPS Substitute Workshop.
