Job Description

The Jaffrey Rindge Cooperative School District is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Special Education Preschool Teacher. This position supports a 50/50 classroom of learners identified with special education needs as well as typical learners. The program runs with a morning group and an afternoon group. This is a dynamic active classroom setting. Qualified candidates must be EEC or Elementary Education Certified as well as Early Elementary Special Education Certified or have the ability to acquire a Statement of Eligibility for this certification. Key components of the job include:*Create lesson plans for diverse learners *Collaborate and integrate with related service providers (Speech OT PT)*Manage and oversee Para Educators within the classroom*Participate in initial and reevaluations to determine eligibility for Special Education*Schedule and facilitate special education meetings*Write Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor for growth and progress*Collect data to inform decisionmaking and instructional practices*Collaborate and communicate with a variety of stakeholders including parents Early Supports and Services Related Service Providers Para Educators Building and District Administrators
