What You Will Do:
The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale AR is looking for a Coop/Student for our Accounting department. This position is designed to be both educational and practical.
Responsibilities include:
Assist with monthend closing process by preparing journal entries and analytical reports
Provide monthly reporting to support internal operations as well as external reporting requirements including labor and cost reporting expense analysis segregation of duties as well as ad hoc reporting
Involvement in daily accounting functions including A/R invoicing payables and support for tax reporting
Working across the organization with other teams to support data needs
Sarbanes Oxley controls assessment and testing. Continuous improvement initiatives
Special projects as needed
Qualifications You Must Have
Enrolled in a degree program in Accounting
Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
Available Summer 2025 through Spring 2027; current Sophomore or Junior
Qualifications We Prefer
Strong leadership abilities and a team player
Effective communication skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel).
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Pratt & Whitney Springdale AR is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportations Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing as a preemployment contingency and subject to ongoing random testing as an employee per FAAs regulation 14 CFR part 120 as well as 49 CFR part 40.

This position is classified as Onsite. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.
Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 37000 USD 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
