Job Description
- Responsible for all day to day general accounting functions including accounts payable accounts receivable payroll cash management and general ledger.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Manage monthend quarterend and yearend closing processes to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounting function.
- Ensure the companys accounting policies and procedures are up to date and effectively communicated.
- Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards tax regulations and local state and federal laws
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information
- Coordinate with external auditors government agencies and financial institutions during audits inspections or reviews.
Qualifications :
- BA/BS in Accounting or related field; CPA or Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of 810 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP internal controls and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software; proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Quickbooks preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments.
- High level of integrity and professionalism with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Experience in semiconductor industry is required
- International Accounting and consolidation experience is preferred
- Able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
